A Successful Golf Day
The University of Botswana Foundation has once again hosted its Annual Fundraising Golf Day event - benefiting UB Students - on Thursday 13 November 2008 at the Gaborone Golf Club. This was the 4th year of the event following previous successful Golf Day events. All proceeds from the event go towards a Scholarship Endowment Fund which was established in 2003 to promote citizen participation in the graduate programmes at the University.
We thank all of our Golf Day 2008 sponsors, donors and guests for their generous support and making this event a huge success. This was our best Golf Day ever - in terms of participation and funds raised - and it would have been the case without supporter’s participation. Every year UB graduate students receive generous scholarships thanks to our supports like the Golf Day 2008 donors and sponsors.
